Our Story
It all started as a wax experiment
Founded by Noura Alserkal, jewelry artist and lecturer, Turabi bridges art and fine jewelry through material honesty and story-driven design.
During her time studying jewellery design abroad, the founder of Turabi discovered a deeper connection to her Arabic roots. The distance and immersion in other cultures served to create closer bonds with home and inspired her to challenge the notions of what it means to be a modern Arab woman.
In a sea of beauty standards that define a polished perfection, we explore a different story; the imperfectly perfect. We’re challenging the notion of representation, transcending constraints around gender, race, culture and body image. Our pieces exist for anyone who seeks to bend the rules.
